Introducing the Eczema Honey Oatmeal Hand Cream

Introducing the Eczema Honey Oatmeal Hand Cream

When eczema affects the hands, it’s often even more challenging and problematic than when it affects other parts of the body. We don’t realize how we literally use our hands for everything (like typing up this blog post, for example). As the founder of Eczema Honey, I have eczema on both my hands and my feet so that’s why we develop products specifically to soothe and cool these places, such as our foot and hand soak, and the itch-cooling wipes. While the original Eczema Honey Soothing Cream is a great all-purpose cream for any part of the body, it’s worth paying a bit of extra attention to the needs of our hands.

We spent the last 9 months developing the new Eczema Honey Oatmeal Hand Cream and the results are promising. For example, my wife’s best friend has it much worse than me with eczema both on her hands and between her fingers. This was one of the few products that she tried that really helped her get through daily tasks more easily. This is also our first product that we are launching after completing a successful 3rd-party dermatology study beforehand. We can’t wait to share this product with you.

Gentle Ingredients, Elevated Formulation

The star ingredients of the Eczema Honey Oatmeal Hand Cream are the tried-and-true classics of honey and plenty of colloidal oatmeal. The soothing properties of honey and oatmeal are great for calming flare-ups and are gentle enough for repeated use throughout the day if needed. However, since our hands are involved in so many things, we couldn’t have a product with the same sticky consistency as our original cream. We studied widely-available OTC creams for eczema to produce an easy-to-use consistency that easily absorbs into the skin without leaving too much residue and we are happy to say that we achieved this with our hand cream.

We didn’t stop there though. The Eczema Honey Oatmeal Hand Cream also has avocado oil and Vitamin-E oil. Both these premium oils add additional moisture to the hands while also delivering plenty of antioxidants. There’s no added fragrance either. In fact, the fragrance is very slight and subtle - the product is nearly completely fragrance-free which is perfect for people who are sensitive to scent!

Dermatologist-Tested

We are proud to launch the Eczema Honey Oatmeal Hand Cream as our first product designated as dermatologist-tested which is printed directly on the label. We conducted a third-party dermatology test that consisted of 40 patients to test for any potential sensitivities. We passed fully passed the test as 100% of the patients did not have any sensitivities or adverse reactions to our cream! We also conducted third-party stability testing on the cream itself. This 3-month test looked for any potential deterioration, mold, or loss of efficacy over a certain duration of time. We also passed this test with a 100% positive outcome for our product.

Ready to Tackle Daily Life

The goal of the Eczema Honey Oatmeal Hand Cream is to help empower those with eczema to tackle the world with their bare hands. This doesn’t mean that you no longer have to pay attention to your eczema triggers. But we hope that it gives people a bit more confidence in their fight against eczema and the rigors of daily life.

Hi,
I’m looking into trying your product, it sounds very promising. However, the oatmeal in it is making me hesitant, because I am gluten intolerant. Does it contain a high amount of oatmeal in it, or do you think it is ok for someone with gluten intolerant to give it a try? Also, Do you happen to have any products without the Colloidal Oatmeal in it/gluten free?
Thank you so much,
-Loci

It’s great to test for sensitivity, but what about actual percentages of people who saw a reduction in symptoms?
